When: First Day is Saturday, September 21, 2019 - Held Saturdays from 10am - 12pm

Where: St Thomas Social Hall (Basement) and Upstairs Lobby

First Holy Communion

Online Registration is Closed. Please contact the church office for more information. (248) 788-2460

Who: 3rd Graders and Older. No Exceptions! This is a Diocese Requirement!

What: First Holy Communion is when our children will prepare to meet the Lord Jesus in this very special sacrament. The First Holy Communion ritual celebrates the child’s second step toward full initiation into the Church. The Eucharist is the greatest gift that Jesus gave to us – the gift of himself. The Eucharist is a gift that takes a whole lifetime to understand; it is a gift that requires a response from us. That is why it is so special and why we must take such care that our children are well-prepared.

When: Classes begin Monday, September 30, 2019.  Classes will meet 2 times per week on Mondays from 6:30pm-8pm and on Saturdays from 3:30pm-6pm (Saturdays, children will celebrate Mass at 5pm. This is required and not optional.)

PARENTS MUST ATTEND THE FIRST DAY FOR ORIENTATION.

Where: St Thomas Social Hall (Basement)
